Meet The Doctors
 After Dr. Afkami graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, he knew he wanted to own his own practice because he enjoyed creating beautiful smiles and giving his patients an extra lift in their step. He is an advocate of preventative measures in dentistry and has a genuine desire to help his patients. He believes in taking the time to get to know his patients so he can better address their needs and meet their expectations.
Dr. Afkami has been married for 17 years. They have two beautiful daughters, Kiana is 12, and Meesha is eight. They call Colleyville home and are active members of the community. Dr. Afkami believes in giving back to the community through regular donations to the local community dental clinics and other volunteer work.
When not in the office helping his patients, Dr. Afkami is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hiking, biking and swimming and he is a big fan of the Cowboys and the Mavericks sports teams. Dr. Afkami also enjoys tennis and soccer and loves to travel and keeps abreast of new dental procedures and technologies by reading and attending continuing education seminars.

About Dr. Hamrah
 Dr. Hamrah is a specialist in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He grew up in Cologne, Germany and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the prestigious Johannes-Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany and graduated at the top of his class with honors. He then moved to Boston, MA to complete a postdoctoral fellowship in Oral Pathology at Harvard University where he focused on head and neck cancer. His training continued at the University of Illinois at Chicago and Loyola University of Chicago where he completed his internships in Anesthesia and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Surgery
Dr. Hamrah provides a variety of surgical services including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting and reconstruction, treatment of TMJ disorders, corrective jaw surgery as well as facial cosmetic surgery including non-surgical alternatives like Botox, a variety of facial fillers, lip implants, facial laser and chemical peeling treatments.
Anesthesia
Dr. Hamrah is Board Certified by the National Board of Dental Anesthesiologists and holds diplomat status. He is also Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. Dr. Hamrah is highly trained in adult as well as pediatric anesthesia. At our facility, various levels of anesthesia can be administered to the patient depending on the clinical situation.
 Dr. Carol Chang graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 2000, at the top of her class. She is an elected member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a prestigious dental honor society, and has received numerous awards from organizations such as the Texas Woman's Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Delta Sigma Delta Dental Society and the Korean Dental Association. She was also active in research and has published an article in a scientific journal as well as several abstracts and has presented her research findings in Washington, D.C. at the American and International Associations of Dental Research.
Dr. Chang focuses on comprehensive care and has a special expertise in cosmetic dentistry, which includes complete smile makeovers, implants, complicated dental restorations and the latest whitening procedures. To increase her expertise in the latest dental advances, Dr. Chang attends numerous dental conferences and meetings throughout the year. She also has a special, gentle manner of handling patients who are fearful of dental treatment. For these patients, sedation dentistry is offered to make the whole dental experience more comfortable and relaxing. In her free time, Dr. Chang enjoys reading, the performing arts, traveling and snow skiing.
